About the Role
As an Account Executive, you will play an important role in ensuring that audiences experience our clients’ brands consistently, at all touchpoints, driving the greatest impact while retaining and building new business. You will support account teams’ day-to-day activities, providing exceptional client service and participating in integrated marketing communications (IMC), planning, execution and measurement activities.
Responsibilities
- Keep up with the industry and learn about clients, trends, and issues that could impact them.
- Participate in client planning meetings and calls, asking informed questions.
- Create professional, actionable client-facing communications.
- Demonstrate proficiency with document review systems, uploading documents accurately and quickly.
- Be responsible for tactical execution of client programming and delivering first drafts of recommendations, campaign materials, timelines, and briefs.
- Contribute to IMC programs to create value and meet client objectives.
- Develop and maintain media lists and leverage relationships.
- Monitor and report client media coverage using platforms like Cision and Factiva.
- Research, develop, and pitch stories, and coordinate press materials and events.
- Monitor, pitch, and help build relationships with key social influencers.
- Stay current on social media channels, trends, and analytics tools.
- Develop content for social and digital channels to support brand strategies.
- Organize and participate in brainstorming meetings, contributing ideas.
- Know agency capabilities and when to engage creative resources.
- Implement research and measurement tools for client campaigns.
- Synthesize research for analysis and summary reports.
- Monitor channels for relevant opportunities that could lead to new business.
- Assist with case studies for client presentations, new business pitches, and industry awards.
- Participate in new business research projects.
- Share ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Communicate efficiently, meeting or beating deadlines.
- Record billable hours daily and follow agency procedures for client budgets.
- Manage vendor relationships, costs, and invoicing.
- Create an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Coach and mentor junior team members.
- Delegate tasks to junior team members with clarity.
- Identify and implement skills-development needs for team members.
- Review the work of junior team members and provide constructive feedback.
- Fulfill all commitments of your role.
