About the Role
As a Bartender at The William Inglis Hotel – MGallery, you will be at the heart of our guest experience, creating memorable moments across our bar, restaurant, and events. You will craft signature and classic cocktails, bringing your personality, creativity, and passion to every pour, while celebrating flavours, culture, and ingredients.
Responsibilities
- Shake, stir, and create memorable moments across 1867 Bar & Lounge, The Newmarket Room Restaurant and events.
- Craft signature cocktails inspired by local stories and perfectly crafted classics.
- Create innovative cocktails alongside exciting low and no-alcohol options.
- Connect with guests, share beverage knowledge, and create an atmosphere where people want to stay longer.
- Deliver warm, personalised experiences that define MGallery.
Requirements
- Previous bartending or beverage experience within a restaurant, hotel or premium hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beverage preparation and service techniques.
- A passion for connecting with guests and sharing beverage knowledge.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive, team-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
- A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
- Full Australian working rights.
