About the Role
The Administrator will promote, deliver, and facilitate various programs directed by management as part of the School Aged Immunisation Service, by assisting nurses in schools or the office.
Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, delivery, and evaluation of health promotion/education and public health school age immunisation programmes.
- Attend community-based vaccination sessions in schools and local settings, working with the nursing team for productive and safe sessions.
- Promote and facilitate collaborative working between the team, schools, educational institutions, and families for immunisation programmes.
- Ensure all consent forms are returned and new ideas contribute to achieving local area targets.
- Ensure adherence to the Standard Operating Procedure for School Immunisation (SOPs).
- Serve as the first point of contact for all administrative tasks, communicating clearly via face-to-face, phone, and email with children, parents, and school staff.
- Maintain the cold chain, order, and arrange transport of vaccinations to site.
- Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
- Comply with Company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade ‘C’ in both English and Maths.
- Prioritize and manage own workload without supervision.
- Assertive, team player, and critical thinker.

About the Company
- Vaccination UK has been commissioned by NHS England since 2015 to provide school aged immunisations, including Influenza, to pupils across numerous counties across England and all boroughs of North London.
