About the Role

This role serves as the primary liaison between customers and the workshop, managing communication, providing updates, and overseeing repair progress. The technician will handle complex repairs and collaborate with technical support when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the liaison between customers and the workshop.
  • Conduct road tests and review job cards for necessary information.
  • Request additional information from customers as required.
  • Inform customers about repair progress.
  • Complete or advise on more involved and complicated repairs.
  • Liaise with prior approval/Ford technical for assistance or pre-diagnosis.
  • Maintain a minimum of 50% productivity.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes.
  • Maintain a high level of department productivity.
  • Replace components, parts, lubricants, and consumables, and record usage.
  • Adhere to strict Health and Safety guidelines.

Requirements

  • A successful track record in a similar role, preferably within a franchised dealership.
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.

  • OTE £37,211 – £40,310
