About the Role
We are seeking an AV/LV Technician to install, set up, and maintain equipment. The ideal candidate is creative, reliable, and has an excellent understanding of cabling, AV, LV, Security systems equipment and software. Ability to travel within the NYC/NY, NJ, and CT area with a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities
- Pull, terminate, test, label, and identify cabling (CAT-6, CAT-6A, Speaker Cable, Coax SDI/RF, Fiber) on site.
- Receive deliveries, inventory on site, and provide status updates to the project team.
- Install TVs, data cabling, speakers, cameras, screens, and perform basic troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean site/work area.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report equipment conditions to the team.
- Clean and maintain equipment in excellent working condition.
- Keep accurate records of equipment/cable/accessories inventory.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an Audio Visual Technician is preferred.
- Excellent computer skills.
- Strong understanding of the equipment.
- Creativity and attention to detail.
- Physical ability to bend and lift heavy objects (up to 50lbs; team lift after 50lbs).
- Ladder/Scaffold or Lift Work where required.
- Ability to travel within the NYC/NY, NJ, and CT area with a valid driver's license.

Salary/Compensations
