About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Associate Attorney to join our growing team. This candidate will work hands-on from case inception to trial with the assistance of an enthusiastic and knowledgeable team, handling a broad range of personal injury cases. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in active litigation, including depositions, discovery, mediation, law and motion, and trial. Our attorneys are provided all necessary resources to obtain maximum client recovery. The firm's leadership invests in educating associate attorneys, providing a great opportunity for those seeking to evolve their litigation skills.
Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of personal injury litigation, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation and execution
- Represent clients in court, mediation, depositions, and arbitration, advocating effectively at each stage
- Draft clear and compelling legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements
- Communicate effectively and frequently with clients, opposing counsel, and courts, including engaging in regular settlement negotiations on behalf of clients
- Manage caseload independently while collaborating with company attorneys and support staff
Requirements
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active California State Bar membership
- Minimum 1-4 years of personal injury or similar law experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and courtroom advocacy abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
