About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Security Technician to join our Service Team, responsible for servicing existing Access Control, CCTV, Intercom, and Duress systems. This role also involves quoting and managing small to medium fit-outs and upgrades for maintenance database clients, with opportunities to develop experience in commissioning, projects, management, and sales.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses and fault finding of all security equipment.
  • Preventative Maintenance of Existing Sites
  • Installation of small/medium commercial projects.
  • Commissioning of small to medium commercial projects.
  • Quoting of faults found on maintenances.
  • Liaising with subcontractors during the commissioning of projects.
  • Assisting the commercial projects team with new and existing works.
  • Customer relationship management.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian resident.
  • Hold a valid NSW Driving licence.
  • Hold a valid Cable licence.
  • Hold a valid Security licence.
  • Hold a valid Building Industry Induction card.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong systems, network and PC related skills.
  • Strong installation and commissioning ethic.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a team.

Skills

  • Access Control systems (P2000, C-Cure, Lenel, Concept, Tecom, Gallagher)
  • CCTV systems (NVRs, DVRs, LAN/WAN devices, CCTV servers)
  • Video management systems (Aimetis, Victor, Exaqvision, Genetec, Milestone)
  • Experience or certification in C-Cure, Integrity or Gallagher preferred
