About the Role
The Senior Manager – PTS Service Manager is accountable for managing a portfolio of in-service aftermarket products and services associated with the Power Transmission Systems (PTS) business. This role serves as the primary customer interface to aftermarket customers and leads the execution of all aftermarket commitments, including product performance, customer satisfaction, commercial deliverables, and financial outcomes. The Service Manager acts as the primary GM interface to global commercial, military, and MRO customers, managing the in-service lifecycle of all PTS products across numerous platforms and customer types.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer escalations on risks, schedule, and deliverables on aftermarket orders and contracts.
- Drive in-service product performance including cost, quality, reliability, and delivery.
- Lead a cross-functional Integrated Program Team (IPT) to deliver on the business’ key objectives, including performance to the financial plan, on-time hardware delivery, achievement of inventory reduction and overdue order targets, and timely proposal development.
- Set pricing parameters and negotiation boundaries for aftermarket contracts.
- Identify and mitigate risks across technical, commercial, and industrial domains, developing actionable risk mitigation strategies.
- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to improve program execution and develop associated implementation plans.
- Deliver clear and concise program updates, including status, risks, and opportunities, at regular cadence reviews and to all levels of business leadership.
Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Experience in program management, aftermarket program management, supply chain management and/or operations management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a complex aerospace or defense environment.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with a track record of resolving contractual and operational challenges.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
