About the Role

This customer support position involves providing services to ensure medical professionals and patients can use our products with confidence. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and repairing medical equipment such as MRI, CT, X-ray diagnostic equipment, ultrasound diagnostic equipment, and physiological monitors. You will also identify customer needs and explain post-sales maintenance and service contracts. We are looking for individuals who can continuously improve their skills to provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities

  • Installation, periodic inspection, and repair (emergency and scheduled) of medical equipment.
  • Promptly and effectively escalate customer issues.
  • Provide prompt reporting and proposals to customers and internally.
  • Develop technical and interpersonal skills and knowledge necessary for the work of a service engineer.
  • Continuously work to improve technical skills for assigned equipment.
  • Report safety issues of identified equipment based on quality policy.
  • Propose maintenance and repair services to customers and handle billing.

Requirements

  • Willingness to relocate (relocation allowances provided).
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Teamwork skills (coordinating schedules within the group, collaborating with sales, headquarters, etc.).
  • Proactive attitude.
  • Ability to read and write in English (or comfortable with it, as e-learning and manual reading are required).

  • All company locations (potential for transfer)

Work Type

  • Full-time
  • Permanent employment
  • Flex-time system (no core hours)
  • Overtime work (average 30 hours per month)

Experience Level

  • Open to various industries
  • Experience in technical customer support, field service, or sales engineering is preferred
  • Experience in aircraft maintenance, automotive maintenance, copier/elevator maintenance, or IT industry is welcome
  • Individuals with a science and engineering background (especially those who majored in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or medical technology at technical college, vocational school, or university) are highly welcome.

Salary/Compensations

  • 4.5 million to 5.8 million JPY (including bonuses)
  • Includes fixed overtime pay for 30 hours
