About the Role
As our ServiceNow ITOM Developer, you’ll play a key role in strengthening AMP’s operational resilience, service visibility and technology transformation journey. Working within the ServiceNow Platform Team, you’ll help design, implement and optimise ITOM capabilities across Discovery, Service Mapping, Cloud Operations, CMDB, observability and automation — ensuring AMP has the right data, insights and platform foundations to support reliable, scalable and efficient technology operations. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly influence how ServiceNow becomes a core enabler of operational excellence across AMP. You’ll partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors and platform specialists to translate business and operational needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions, improve CMDB maturity, enhance automation, support regulatory alignment and identify opportunities to leverage AI, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist and operational analytics to improve outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize ITOM capabilities across Discovery, Service Mapping, Cloud Operations, CMDB, observability, and automation.
- Ensure AMP has the right data, insights, and platform foundations to support reliable, scalable, and efficient technology operations.
- Translate business and operational needs into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Improve CMDB maturity.

- Identify opportunities to leverage AI, Predictive Intelligence, Now Assist, and operational analytics to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong ServiceNow ITOM experience with proven capability across implementation, configuration, and support of core modules such as CMDB, Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, and MID Servers.
- Confidence working with ServiceNow platform tools including Flow Designer, Workflow Data Fabric, and App Engine Studio.
- Strong understanding of scripting, APIs, integrations, and scalable solution design in complex technology environments.
- Strong consulting, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Ability to understand complex infrastructure and platform challenges.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions.
- Ability to contribute to architectural decisions.
- Ability to build trusted relationships across technology, risk, vendors, and business teams.
- Adaptability from BAU to ambiguous situations.
