About the Role

The Impact Manager will oversee day-to-day coordination of the StopScamsSF initiative, managing cross-sector partnerships, aligning workflows, supporting integration with financial counseling services, and ensuring consistent data tracking and reporting. This role will also troubleshoot operational challenges, support communications and outreach, and advance strategic improvements to the initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management and maintain momentum for EJC’s StopScamsSF initiative.
• Maintain up-to-date research on best practices for scam prevention and response, with a particular focus on seniors, youth, and immigrant communities.
• Develop and implement a plan for ongoing monitoring and response.
• Work closely with the Community Engagement Specialist to engage in community listening, support a community panel, and translate findings into action.
• Convene a table of partners (e.g. financial institutions, policy makers, law enforcement) to collaborate on systemic responses.
• In partnership with stakeholders, formulate and pursue strategies for structural prevention of fraud and scams in San Francisco.
• Coordinate with the Communications team on regular prevention messages via email, social media, and other outlets.
• Work closely with the Research Director to collect and interpret data on StopScamsSF’s performance for assessment and to inform ongoing programmatic improvements.
• Work with the EJC team to integrate lessons and best practices to respond to community needs and advance EJC’s body of work, which includes financial inclusion, financial counseling, asset building, and fine and fee reform.
• Identify areas for innovation in response to community learnings and studies of existing programs.
• Cultivate new partnerships, present about our work, coordinate with community partners for policy advocacy efforts, participate in coalitions, and keep the team apprised of developments.
• Prepare content to share information about StopScamsSF and other related projects, impacts, and new and existing resources with the community in a clear and accessible way.
• Create resources to assist other cities with replication of effective StopScamsSF strategies.
• Support development of materials for related economic justice topics as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Possession of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Three (3) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level analytical work.
• Qualifying professional-level analytical work includes analysis, development, administration, and reporting in major programs and functions of an organization in the areas of budgets, contracts, grants, policy, or other functional areas related to the duties of positions in the 1823 Class series.
