About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for processing invoicing, payment reconciliation, and financial reporting for multiple international corporate entities within a dynamic, multinational environment. Practical experience with the ERP system NetSuite and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with global teams in English are ideal.

Responsibilities

• Creation, review, and management of customer invoices and credit notes across various ERP systems, adhering strictly to internal company policies and international regulations.
• Creation, execution, and analysis of dunning runs, payment runs, and dunning procedures to accelerate cash flow and minimize overdue receivables.
• Accurate reconciliation of incoming payments with outstanding receivables, clarification of transaction discrepancies, and direct communication with payment service providers.
• Management of accounting processes for multiple international subsidiaries, navigating a multi-currency and multi-jurisdictional financial environment.
• Active participation in monthly and annual closing cycles by preparing, analyzing, and presenting reports on receivables, analyses, and due date overviews to support management decisions.
• Support and participation in specialized cross-functional projects to optimize and further develop the entire accounting environment.

Requirements

• A commercial apprenticeship or professional experience in accounting, preferably gained in a multinational company (MNC) or a shared services environment managing cross-border portfolios.
• Sound knowledge of fundamental accounting principles, international billing practices, and credit management, combined with practical experience with various payment methods (e.g., SEPA, credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay).
• Practical knowledge of Tier 1 ERP systems – experience with NetSuite is highly desirable, SAP or InforLN are advantageous – as well as strong MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) for data analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical skills, a high affinity for numbers, and the ability to work independently and structurally in a dynamic environment.
• Professional English skills (written and spoken) are mandatory as the primary working language; knowledge of another European language is a distinct advantage.
• German language skills at a minimum B2 level in written and spoken form.
