About the Role

This role owns our provider relationships on the execution side, managing programs for onboarding new providers and sites, capacity rollouts, hardware and fabric quality issues, and major incidents. You will act as the primary point of contact for providers regarding delivery timelines and open items, and serve as incident commander during provider-side failures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage new provider and site onboarding, capacity expansions, remediation of recurring hardware or network issues, and provider relationships.
  • Act as incident commander during major provider-side incidents, coordinating response across internal teams, providers, and customers.
  • Maintain program plans including milestones, owners, dependencies, and risks, ensuring visibility for all stakeholders.
  • Hold providers accountable to their commitments through structured check-ins and escalation when necessary.
  • Coordinate internally to prevent provider issues from causing delays, engaging relevant teams like SRE, Engineering, and Product.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate capacity and quality risks before they impact customers.
  • Develop playbooks and provider-facing standards to streamline future onboarding and qualification processes.

Requirements

  • Several years of experience running technical programs in infrastructure.
  • TPM or technical project management experience with execution ownership, ideally involving external vendors or partners.
  • Incident management experience, including commanding production incidents involving multiple organizations.
  • Technical depth to effectively communicate with provider data-center engineers and internal SREs on GPUs, networking, and storage.
  • Proven ability to align and drive teams without direct authority, including external partners.
  • Solid fundamentals in planning, risk tracking, status communication, and managing multiple programs concurrently.
  • Calm and direct communication style, with a track record of delivering timely and trustworthy information.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to define and build processes.
