About the Role
A family is seeking a full-time nanny to care for their toddler and a second child due in September. The role involves approximately 85% childcare and 15% household tasks, focusing on creating a nurturing and engaging environment for the children. The family travels frequently, and the nanny may accompany them on domestic and international trips.
Responsibilities
- Engage in active play, outings, and early learning activities for a toddler.
- Support infant care, including feeding, sleep routines, and developmental play.
- Plan and prepare children's meals.
- Manage children's laundry, organization, and wardrobe.
- Coordinate pediatric appointments and activities.
- Safely drive children to activities using a provided family vehicle.
- Tidy communal household areas, including kitchen organization and dishwashing.
- Run occasional errands such as grocery shopping and dry cleaning.
- Perform light meal preparation for the family.
- Maintain household organization and light housekeeping.
- Provide vendor access and oversight during family travel.
- Perform light pet care, including feeding and letting the dog out.
- Assist with packing for children during family travel.
- Travel with the family domestically and internationally, with all expenses covered and travel premium paid.
Requirements
- Comfortable with a large, friendly dog.
- Experienced in traveling with families and possess a current passport.
- Hold a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
- Must have experience as a live-in nanny and understand boundary maintenance.
- Tech-savvy, proficient with tools like baby connect and calendar management.
- Possess excellent communication skills and be a team player.
- Hold current Infant/Child CPR and First-Aid certifications, or be willing to obtain them promptly.
