The Relationship Banker serves as the welcoming face of Velocity Credit Union, playing a critical role in building member trust and engagement. Velocity's Relationship Bankers help members with day-to-day financial needs, educate them on digital tools, and introduce solutions that simplify their financial lives.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the welcoming face of Velocity Credit Union.
  • Build member trust and engagement.
  • Blend traditional teller responsibilities with foundational banker skills.
  • Create exceptional experiences through meaningful interactions and personalized service.
  • Help members with day-to-day financial needs.
  • Educate members on digital tools.
  • Introduce solutions that simplify members' financial lives.
  • Control negotiable instruments.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
  • Adapt to a productive team environment.
  • Share knowledge, welcome feedback and coaching.
  • Work branch hours, including Saturdays.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months of financial institution, banking, or credit union operations experience supporting customers in person or over the phone.
  • Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Proficiency in using common office applications and office equipment.
  • Passion for providing outstanding customer service and a positive attitude.
  • Effective time management skills, including prioritizing multiple responsibilities and organizing work tasks.
  • Flexibility to work branch hours, including Saturdays.
