About the Role

In this role, you will collaborate with product, engineering, and design partners to solve key consumer problems for DoorDash. You will develop and test data-driven hypotheses, generate new product ideas, and enhance the consumer experience. You will own projects from conception through implementation and results, executing high-impact experiments to influence business decisions, consumer and product strategies, and the future of the DoorDash consumer app. You will report to the Senior Manager of the Social Products team within the Consumer Strategy & Operations organization. Projects may include helping users discover restaurants and dishes, encouraging content creation, using AI to automate processes, and supporting go-to-market campaigns. You will also create and implement efficient cross-functional processes.

Responsibilities

  • Shape team strategy and decide on future initiatives
  • Design and launch new initiatives from the ground up
  • Analyze experiment results to inform business decisions and future experiments
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Analytics teams to drive cross-functional and go-to-market execution

Requirements

  • 6+ years of working experience in strategy, operations, consulting, growth, product, marketplace, or general management roles
  • Creative thinking with the ability to switch between high-level strategy and detailed execution
  • Bias towards action, comfort with ambiguity, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and operate at a detailed level
  • Proven track record of owning and scaling growth initiatives in complex environments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with strong cross-functional leadership abilities
  • Past startup experience (bonus points)
  • AI fluency, familiarity with prompt engineering and model evaluation (bonus points)
