About the Role
As an Account Executive on our Enterprise Retail team, you will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close. Your portfolio will include both prospective and strategic existing customers within Braze’s large Enterprise segment. This role is designed for a SaaS Sales professional with a proven track record in generating new business through strong prospecting and business development skills.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-suite executives at top-tier brands, understanding their organizational complexities and procurement processes
- Identify and pursue net-new enterprise accounts through targeted prospecting and outbound efforts
- Develop and manage relationships with high-profile accounts while actively seeking new opportunities
- Implement a consultative sales approach to identify priority business challenges and take a value-based approach to solution selling
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure a seamless client experience
- Drive account expansion within assigned accounts using market insights
- Educate clients on industry trends, positioning Braze as a trusted partner & ecosystem leader
- Utilize Salesforce.com, Clari, and other CRM tools to manage sales pipelines and ensure accurate forecasting
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience selling complex SaaS solutions to enterprise clients, with typical deal sizes ranging exceeding $1M+ per year
- At least 10 years of overall industry experience, ideally with a focus on Retail & Consumer Goods verticals
- Experience working with enterprise organizations and understanding how to navigate complex, cross-functional stakeholder and decision-making committees
- Experience selling solutions that engage stakeholders across both IT and business departments
- Familiarity with analytics, CRM, marketing automation, customer data management, digital media, or content marketing solutions
- Prior experience should also include routine collaboration with marketing, partnerships, and business development teams to help accelerate lead generation efforts
- 8-10 years in strategic SaaS sales, focusing on large enterprise clients, ideally with a focus on Retail & Consumer Goods verticals
- Experience in complex solution selling, with a strong background in Value Selling and Business Value Assessments
- Proven ability to source and prospect new accounts through effective outbound strategies
- Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills for articulating technical concepts & positive business outcomes
- Quick adaptability to new cloud applications and tools, with experience in Salesforce.com or similar CRMs, as well as leveraging AI for productivity gains
- Strong networking skills, able to navigate large organizations and identify key decision-makers
- Up-to-date understanding of the digital and application landscape, as well as consumer trends

Salary/Compensations
- For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $150,000 and $181,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $300,000 and $362,000/year (including bonus or commission).
