About the Role
RiverKids Pediatric Home Health is seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) and Speech Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) to provide in-home pediatric therapy services. Therapists can build their own schedules and make a real impact in the lives of children.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in a home health setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Implement evidence-based speech and language interventions
- Educate families and caregivers on therapy strategies and progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary therapy teams
Requirements
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA CCCs preferred (or CFY welcome)
- CPR Certificate
- Active Texas SLPA license
- Pediatric experience preferred (home health experience a plus)
- Bilingual (preferred not required)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Reliable transportation
