About the Role
Huntington Learning Center is seeking multiple Teachers/Tutors for subjects including Language Arts, Science, Math, and SAT/ACT Exam Prep. The role involves teaching students with provided lesson plans and materials, allowing tutors to focus solely on instruction.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to Huntington students
- Correct each student's work (answers provided)
- Alert supervisor to any concerns and suggest program changes
- Participate in all scheduled paid teacher meetings
- Observe the signing-in and out of each student
Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree
- Ready to make a difference in the lives of students and their families
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Basic computer skills
- Open to a flexible part-time schedule, both in-center and/or online
