About the Role
Sierra is building a platform to help businesses create better, more human customer experiences using AI. The Travel, Transportation and Hospitality (TTH) team supports major players in the travel industry, partnering with them to shape the platform and reinvent hospitality. This role involves designing and delivering production-grade AI agents that directly drive revenue and improve customer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver production-grade AI agents that are central, mission-critical, and drive revenue.
- Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration.
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents in production environments.
- Define the standard for ADLC best practices.
- Partner with leaders at large enterprises to understand business challenges and build transformative AI agents.
- Partner with cutting-edge startups to embed AI agents across their business stack.
- Surface unmet needs based on customer interactions.
- Prototype new tools and features.
- Collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to shape the future of AI agent development and Sierra's product.
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems.
- Strong technical problem-solving skills, especially in fast-changing, ambiguous environments.
- A builder and tinkerer's mindset with high agency.
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand their needs and solve real-world problems.
- Excellent communication skills—clear, direct, and persuasive across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excitement in the travel space and a genuine care for helping improve the guest experience.
