About the Role
The Service Technician will be responsible to service and maintain the full line of equipment and products offered by the company.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, diagnose, repair and test laundry equipment and other products supplied by the company in our laundry rooms or specific areas of a building to the company’s level of quality and standards.
- Maintain professional/friendly relationships with customers/clients
- Maintain and be accountable for truck inventory (parts and specialty tools provided by the company) to able to complete work in a timely manner
- Maintain company vehicle in safe working condition
- Assist installers when required
- Backup a service territory/Installer
- Assist with on-site retrofit, equipment overhauls etc.
- Complete vend adjustment
- Site Inspection evaluations
Requirements
- Holds a valid Natural Gas License or Certificate of Qualification or be enrolled in a certified course to obtain a valid Natural Gas Certificate of Qualification as approved by the province.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driver’s abstract
- Basic mechanical and technical aptitude
- Basic electronic aptitude
- Minimum 1 year of small chassis Washer and Dryer appliance repair skills is an asset
- Multi-load Wash and Dryer appliance repair skills is an asset
- Self-Starter with proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrate strong technical, electrical, and mechanical ability.
- Ability to diagnose, trouble-shoot and assess plumbing, ventilation, electrical, make-up air requirements etc.
- Great organizational skills, related to maintain assets, travel and prioritizing workload to gain the best impact on productivity.
- Manage and maintain Coinamatic assets and expenses i.e.: vehicle, phone/communication device (tablet), fax machine, parts, uniform etc.
- Team player who can work with all levels of the organization i.e. sales, administration
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Requires own basic tools
- Able to work flexible hours including weekends
