About the Role

Responsible for developing an employment network and fostering resources to facilitate job leads for program participants. This role provides placement assistance and job readiness training to support program goals and participant success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outreach to referral sources
  • Maintain and provide documentation of placement activity
  • Complete progress notes for participant activities
  • Conduct individual assessments and needs analysis for placement readiness
  • Act as a positive role model and provide support for job seekers
  • Comply with all contractual program requirements
  • Coordinate with Supervisor to identify challenges and provide advocacy
  • Develop and maintain a weekly email network of job leads
  • Administer WOTC and WTW tax credits to potential employers
  • Maintain positive relationships with employers to identify job opportunities
  • Provide job readiness training and assist in formulating job search plans
  • Market participants to employers and establish a network of hiring contacts
  • Provide follow-up services to improve and maintain job retention
  • Document all participant and employer contacts in CARES
  • Identify qualified applicants and conduct screening interviews, reference checks, and evaluations

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • Minimum of two years recruiting experience placing candidates in high-demand positions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in English
  • Excellent math skills
  • Ability to attend off-site meetings with community businesses
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Ability to make judgment calls, prioritize, and multi-task
  • Ability to work independently

Salary/Compensations

  • $28.84 Hourly
  • $60,000.00 Annually
