About the Role
The Front Desk Clerk - Property Management (Full Time) will provide a high level of customer service to residents and other building guests. This role involves greeting customers, addressing inquiries, maintaining security, coordinating projects, and providing information to residents. The clerk acts as a liaison between vendors, residents, guests, service, and property management teams.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all customers
- Greet & monitor foot traffic
- Establish positive working relationships with residents
- Ensure controlled access of building & record visitor entry
- Log, secure, and notify residents of packages
- Patrol the building making sure all hallways are clean, neat, and presentable
- Enforce community rules
- Report any suspicious activity to authorities
- Conduct outreach as needed for residents
- Monitor video surveillance
- Maintain proper signage in lobby and common areas
- Field resident concerns or requests made in person and properly route to proper teams
- Communicate clearly and effectively
- Update log books accordingly
- Fire Life Safety Monitoring
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a Concierge, Guest Services, Front Desk, Ticket Counter, Retail Services role or sales preferred
- Strong communication skills with ability to provide direction, information, and instruction while engaging in quality conversation
- Ability to communicate with all customers and tackle concerns with follow through
- Previous customer service/admin work experience
- Experience in Security and Safety Management
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook
- Demonstrate computer literacy
- Flexible schedule and positive attitude
- Ability to work weekends & evenings as needed
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to listen and speak clearly on telephone.
