About the Role

As the Owner of the Case Risk Rating (CRR) Framework, you will be central to how BCG manages risk across its global client portfolio. This role involves translating risk requirements into functional specifications, ensuring methodology alignment with BCG's risk appetite, and governing the framework. Your work will have direct visibility to senior risk and governance forums.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the owner of the CRR framework, maintaining the end-to-end methodology, including scoring logic, risk attributes, thresholds, and documentation.
• Define business and data requirements and risk attributes for the CRR methodology, partnering with the CRR product team.
• Monitor CRR data quality from a risk methodology perspective, identifying and escalating inconsistencies.
• Lead periodic reviews and evolutions of the CRR methodology to align with BCG's current risk appetite and case landscape.
• Maintain a record of all framework decisions, rationale, and version history.
• Monitor CRR outputs and portfolio-level performance, tracking risk distribution, score trends, and framework calibration.
• Flag emerging trends or anomalies that may warrant framework evolution or escalation.
• Identify patterns in portfolio-level risk data, including trends and concentrations across geographies, industries, and case types.
• Translate findings into actionable insights for relevant teams and leadership.
• Prepare regular risk reporting for senior governance forums.
• Partner with the CRR product team to translate case risk methodology requirements into data, reporting, and product specifications.
• Partner with data owners to define, maintain, and evolve data requirements supporting the CRR framework.
• Maintain a close working relationship with the CRR product team, sharing observations and ensuring alignment.
• Stay informed on data pipeline health, input completeness, and system issues affecting risk scores.
• Support adoption and understanding of the CRR framework among end users.
• Represent ERM in cross-functional discussions about CRR scope, coverage, or framework changes.

Requirements

• 5–8+ years of experience in risk management, risk operations, compliance, analytics, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience owning or managing a risk or compliance framework, methodology, or process.
• Strong analytical and data skills; experience working with risk data, dashboards, or structured reporting.
• Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce high-quality briefings and documentation.
• Experience managing relationships with technical, data and functional stakeholders in a complex organization.
• Familiarity with enterprise risk management concepts and frameworks (ERM, risk registers, risk rating tools) is highly desirable.
• Experience in a global professional services or partner-led environment is beneficial.
