About the Role

Sumitomo is seeking a Centerless - Machine Operator to join their manufacturing team. This role involves operating machinery for repetitive parts processing under supervision, with opportunities for career growth.

Responsibilities

• Operate one or more machines to perform simple machine operations on highly repetitive and standardized parts and details on metal or other material.
• Follow instructions on operating procedures.
• Perform duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, and operations.
• Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to follow directions.

Skills

• Previous experience operating CNC grinding equipment such as; Walter, Ewag, Rollamatic, ANCA, Waida, etc. (strongly preferred).
