About the Role

Senior Sanitation Supervisor will be responsible for daily plant sanitation functions and employees, supporting quality and sanitation improvement processes. This role monitors chemical management, maintains sanitation equipment, and implements procedures in compliance with company quality and health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Promote all plant safety, GMP, and food safety policies and procedures.
• Monitor equipment condition through scheduled food safety preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Issue Non-Compliance reports to employees as needed.
• Provide leadership and direction to the department, including identifying training needs, offering growth opportunities, managing absenteeism, and providing coaching.
• Plan and execute daily, weekly, and periodic plant-wide visits to ensure compliance with regulatory procedures for sanitation, housekeeping, and production readiness.
• Foster a continuous improvement environment by enhancing services and processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and increase profitability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of prior supervisory experience in a sanitation role.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with and understand production scheduling systems.
• Demonstrated experience in proposing and driving change initiatives/improvement programs.
• Solid oral, written, and listening communication skills.
• Requires enthusiasm, initiative, and effective judgment in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
• Must have flexibility and be receptive to sudden and frequent changes in priorities.
• A hands-on work ethic with creative problem-solving skills; disciplined, consistent, and hard worker.
