About the Role

Regal Cinemas Elmwood Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking passionate, part-time cast members to deliver exceptional guest service, cleanliness, and a memorable movie-going experience in a fun and energetic environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell tickets, concessions, and perform usher duties.
• Provide guest service as the face of Regal.
• Handle cash, credit cards, gift cards, and other forms of payment accurately.
• Upsell and suggestively sell premium viewing experiences and concessions.
• Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
• Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
• Respond to guest inquiries professionally.
• Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
• Comply with food safety laws and alcohol service regulations where applicable.
• Tear tickets, direct patrons, and inspect packages.
• Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
• Enforce the MPAA rating system.
• Conduct in-theater inspections for quality and safety.
• Report any theater issues to management.
• Perform in-auditorium concession sales.
• Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas.
• Monitor cleanliness and operation of vending equipment.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
• Handle emergency situations.
• Perform general cleaning duties.
• Comply with company dress code.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends.
• Weekday opening and/or closing availability is preferred.
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be able to perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
• Must be able to identify problems, gather data, and evaluate information.
• Must be able to take action beyond what is necessarily called for and perform under pressure.
• Must possess excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Must be able to establish goals, budget time, and set priorities.
• Must be able to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• Must be able to occasionally climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 60 pounds.
• Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education Level

• Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
• Must complete any legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate for alcohol sales.
• Must complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University if applicable.
