About the Role
The Junior IT Operations Specialist will support the IT Operations Manager in maintaining the device program and campus technology. This role involves configuring and deploying MacBook Neos, managing logistics, and providing first-line technical support for students and staff in a K-12 athletic-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the IT Operations Manager on daily execution and task ownership
- Configure and deploy MacBook Neos including imaging, software installation, and MDM profile application
- Manage inventory, log serial numbers, and handle inbound and outbound shipments
- Process device returns, wipe and reimage hardware, and manage end-of-life retirement
- Provide first-line technical support for students and staff regarding login, software, and hardware issues
- Maintain accurate device tracking, ticket notes, and internal documentation
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on IT support or operations experience
- Working experience with macOS deployment and management
- Comfort supporting iOS or comparable mobile devices
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting boxes and organizing inventory
- Strong customer service skills for communicating with students and parents
- Consistent attention to detail for record-keeping and logistics
- Familiarity with AI tools for streamlining tasks
