About the Role
Confidential Crisis Response supports clients facing kidnapping-for-ransom, threat extortion, and other crises. This role involves research and analysis within the Special Risks Analysis team, contributing to a world-leading database of kidnap-for-ransom incidents.
Responsibilities
- Maintain the kidnap-for-ransom incident database.
- Update past case records to enhance future operational capabilities.
- Conduct research to identify and record kidnap-for-ransom and extortion incidents.
- Identify and share relevant information with Senior Analysts, Response Management, or Consultants.
- Write updates and refresh background content for the Seerist subscription platform.
- Perform research to support client advice during live kidnap and extortion cases.
- Provide research support to regional Analysts for client consulting tasks.
- Identify opportunities for improving data capture.
- Contribute to the enhancement of research techniques.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written English.
- Ability to conduct research in French.
- Developed research skills.
- Competence in Office 365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy.
- Ability to understand and summarize large amounts of information.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Ability to conduct research in other foreign languages (preferred).
- Proactively resolve issues and escalate when necessary.
