About the Role

The Delivery Driver is responsible for the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of petroleum products to residential and commercial customers, reporting directly to the Delivery Driver Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily safety checks of the delivery vehicle and report maintenance needs.
• Review daily manifests, load trucks, and execute deliveries in compliance with federal, state, and company regulations.
• Adhere to delivery standards focusing on customer service, efficiency, and productivity.
• Attend and participate in driver meetings.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and routing specialists regarding customer concerns or operational issues.
• Maintain a professional personal appearance and clean uniform.
• Achieve proficiency in using the Raven handheld device.
• Promote positive customer relations and respect customer property.
• Maintain a clean, organized truck stocked with necessary tools and safety equipment.
• Participate in night and weekend on-call rotations.
• Prime furnaces for oil customers and perform leak tests/pilot lighting for propane customers.
• Engage in cross-training and support other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Class B Commercial Driver's License with hazardous materials endorsement.
• CETP training and certification for propane delivery.
• Apprentice oil burner license for oil delivery.
• Ability to pass a D.O.T. physical.
• Must pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
