About the Role
The Supervisor, Strategy selects media channels and programs for clients based on strategic media approaches and cross-functional expertise. This role involves leading projects, maintaining account flowcharts, overseeing traffic workbooks and creative asset trackers, and reporting to the Associate Director, Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Apply pharma media experience across diverse conditions, disease states, and audiences.
- Demonstrate familiarity with the total marketing process and the strategic role of media.
- Understand the role of media channels in a plan.
- Utilize media software such as Prisma and MediaTools.
- Proactively self-educate on company, agency, and client business functions.
- Support the Director and Associate Director of Strategy.
- Build trust and show respect for all employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Train junior-level strategy team members on tools and processes.
- Manage time and resources for direct reports.
- On-board and train new hires.
- Participate in performance management, goal-setting, and reviews for direct reports.
- Nurture and develop direct reports.
- Participate in interviewing efforts.
- Prepare and compile media plans and strategic presentations.
- Execute overall media strategy on deliverables.
- Assist in driving the planning process.
- Work across multiple accounts and campaigns.
- Collaborate with internal leaders to ensure strategic alignment.
- Provide input on media channel mix and budget allocation.
- Ensure media flowcharts match financial documents.
- Oversee creation and management of creative asset trackers.
- QA and guide senior associates on traffic workbook development.
- Represent cross-functional teams in client and agency meetings.
- Push for continuous improvement of deliverables.
- Contribute to new business efforts.
- Build day-to-day relationships with clients.
- Convey passion for clients and their businesses.
- Provide input to shape client marketing priorities.
- Provide outstanding client service.
- Influence clients through public speaking, presentation, and writing skills.
