About the Role
LIFTED is seeking an experienced Roll Off Driver to support waste bin services, equipment transport, and job site logistics in London and the surrounding area. This field-based role requires safe and professional operation of company trucks, supporting diverse customer and operational needs at various client locations.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and picking up roll off bins
- Servicing waste bins safely and efficiently
- Transporting equipment, materials, and cargo between sites
- Floating equipment and materials on flatbed and/or trailers
- Managing daily driving logistics
- Maneuvering safely in tight or restricted spaces
- Securing loads properly before transport
- Communicating with Operations about schedule changes, access issues, or site challenges
- Reporting problems early, including blocked bins, overfilled bins, tight access, or property concerns
- Completing daily vehicle and trailer inspections
- Reporting maintenance issues promptly
- Keeping trucks, trailers, and equipment clean, organized, and ready for work
- Representing the company professionally with clients, property managers, and the public
Requirements
- Valid DZ license or higher, active and not suspended
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience in Ontario with DZ license or higher
- Ability to meet fleet insurance requirements
- Age 25+ for fleet insurability
- Prior experience operating trucks and towing trailers in real working conditions
- Experience transporting equipment, materials, or performing roll off bin services
- Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
- Strong awareness of load securement, road safety, and site safety
- Clear communication and good judgment in the field
- Willingness to wear company uniform and maintain a professional appearance
