About the Role

Citi Research is seeking a Supervisory Analyst and Editor to join the Global Research Publications Team. This senior role involves reviewing and shaping investment research to ensure quality, integrity, and timeliness, while maintaining compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Review investment research content for compliance with US FINRA regulations, including reasonable basis, sourcing standards, and language requirements.
  • Assess research language, tone, and content for franchise and reputational risk, editing to mitigate exposure while preserving independent analytical views.
  • Edit investment research reports for quality, clarity, commercial relevance, style, and grammar across various formats and asset classes.
  • Verify research publications for accurate issuer mentions against internal watch lists, appropriate disclaimers and disclosures, data consistency, and correct distribution tagging.
  • Manage end-to-end editorial workflow as a project coordinator, tracking work in progress and liaising with various teams to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve control issues with transparency, maintaining sound judgment on risk and compliance matters.
  • Apply Citi's internal research content guidelines consistently, using established guidebooks and policies to uphold publication standards.

Requirements

  • 6 - 10 years of experience with at least five years of experience creating, editing, or supporting investment or financial analytic content.
  • Strong familiarity with global financial markets, financial terminology, and ongoing business and investment news.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines, with strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, with the capacity to consistently apply a broad range of editorial guidelines and compliance procedures.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the interpersonal skills to work effectively with demanding internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working with complex publishing software platforms and able to coordinate with technical teams to troubleshoot issues.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
