About the Role
Arcadis is seeking a self-motivated Bridge CADD Drafter to join our growing Bridge Engineering team in the Toronto West office, Ontario, Canada. This role involves developing high-quality structural drawings for critical infrastructure projects across Ontario, contributing to shaping the cities of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed plans and models for bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and other civil structures using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
- Support the preparation of clear, accurate, and constructible design documentation for infrastructure projects.
- Carry out bridge geometry checks and material quantity calculations.
- Coordinate with roadway, civil, and utility teams to identify and resolve design conflicts.
- Review drawings for accuracy and confirm compliance with municipal and provincial drafting standards.
- Serve as a technical resource to streamline plan production and contribute to successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional CAD design experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation is required.
- Basic Civil 3D skills are essential.
- Knowledge of MTO (Ministry of Transportation Ontario) and municipal geometric design standards is highly beneficial.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
