About the Role

The Client Advocate is responsible for cultivating and maintaining client relationships, leading strategy development and execution, and owning the E365 Service plan. This role involves engaging expert resources, leading pricing and profitability efforts, and ensuring coordinated service delivery to meet client needs. The Client Advocate acts as the primary relationship manager, deeply understanding the client's business and industry to foster a true business partnership. Key responsibilities include client retention, profitability, and successful delivery of all outcomes for assigned clients, with a focus on maximizing revenue through upselling and account growth. As a senior member, this role also includes mentoring colleagues, serving as a Subject Matter Expert, and acting as a Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Retains existing book of business and develops and strengthens client relationships, serving as the primary client contact.
  • Contributes to new business opportunities for both new and existing clients.
  • Drives the RFP response process, including resource coordination and document ownership.
  • Engages with sales and broking to stay informed about marketplace changes.
  • Establishes a comprehensive understanding of the client’s industry, business, and objectives.
  • Provides strategic planning and consulting advice, monitoring insurance and risk management needs in collaboration with internal resources.
  • Drives the creation and delivery of the E365 Plan and Client Stewardship report.
  • Identifies, engages, and integrates internal WTW resources to ensure an exceptional client experience.
  • Leads and mentors account team members.
  • Maximizes the profitability and retention of their book of business.
  • Negotiates, creates, and delivers fee/compensation agreements to clients.
  • Informs client’s insurance program design and strategy by working with Broking to ensure appropriate analytical tool utilization.
  • Drives the design and delivery of client presentations, proposals, advocacy reports, service plans, and schedules.
  • Drives the renewal process to establish and implement client-specific renewal strategies, collaborating with internal groups.
  • Ensures Group policy requirements (legal, regulatory & compliance) are met.
  • Performs other duties as identified and appropriate to ensure an exceptional client experience.

Requirements

  • Strong connection to the client’s business and a fundamental understanding of its industry.
  • Comfortable upselling the client and growing the account.
  • Ability to lead RFPs, oral presentations, and pitches.
  • Serves as a mentor to colleagues.
  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for one or more lines of business.
  • Serves as a Team Leader.
