About the Role

Responsible for the correct sorting of linen placed on a moving conveyor belt, picking up soil linen, and placing it in the corresponding sling/cart. Must meet quality and production standards while following standard operating procedures.

Responsibilities

• Sort linen placed on a moving conveyor belt.
• Pick up soil linen and place it in the corresponding sling/cart.
• Follow standard operating procedures.
• Meet quality and production standards.
• Cross-train on other routes per production needs.

Requirements

• Be on time.
• Have excellent attendance.
• Meet established production standards.
• Follow all company safety rules.
• Be able to work well with a diverse workforce.
• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies.
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise.
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit.
• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen.
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting and pulling.
