About the Role
Provide quality service and products to customers in a timely and professional manner. Picks up dry linen and feeds items into various dry fold machines, following standard operating procedures. Inspects each piece of linen for defects and meets quality and production standards.
Responsibilities
- Feed items into various dry fold machines
- Follow standard operating procedures for each machine
- Inspect each piece of linen for stains, tears, holes, and wears
- Meet quality and production standards
- Cross-train in other positions per production needs
Requirements
- Be on time
- Have excellent attendance
- Meet established production standards
- Follow all company safety rules
- Be able to work well with a diverse workforce
- Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Possess and maintain a positive attitude
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in line with company policies
- Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise
- Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit
- Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
- Be able to push/pull linen carts up to 800 lbs (in wheels)
- Be able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Be able to operate computer/printer
- Consistently meet physical requirements such as bending and twisting
