About the Role
This cross-functional role provides high-level administrative and logistical support to advance the work of the President/CEO and IRC’s Global Board, offering a unique opportunity to observe organizational leadership and governance.
Responsibilities
- Collect, organize, and assemble briefing materials for the CEO.
- Manage the CEO's email inbox daily, prioritizing and responding to correspondence.
- Order supplies for the President's office team.
- Process expense reports and invoices, including preparing CEO travel expense reports.
- Perform other administrative and job-related duties as assigned.
- Provide centralized support for the Board Engagement team, maintaining accurate contact information and team-wide materials.
- Schedule yearly committee and board meetings, as well as ad hoc meetings.
- Provide day-of logistical support for quarterly in-person Board meetings.
- Attend committee meetings and take minutes, preparing them for external sharing and condensing them into reports for the Board of Directors.
- Maintain Salesforce records and campaigns for B&A members, updating contact and account data.
- Handle purchase requests, the team credit card, and process expense reports and invoices for the Board Engagement team.
- Manage logistics for internal and external meetings, including reserving conference rooms and setting up IT.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
- 3 years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment with increasing responsibilities and a track record of high performance.
- Prior experience working as an administrative assistant.
- Experience working in a non-profit business development department is a plus.
- Experience working with high net-worth individuals and/or senior partners is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to bring a can-do attitude, flexibility, and resilience.
- Ability to pivot and adapt to rapidly changing circumstances.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.

- Within ER, the Global Board Engagement team is directly responsible for all Board practices, engagement, and strategy for the Board of Directors and Advisors (B&A) for IRC, Inc.
