About the Role
Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks including receiving, inventory management, customer service, and order processing to ensure efficient operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily warehouse operations including picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and put-away activities.
- Operate RF scanners and TWL systems to process orders and inventory movements.
- Ensure accurate order picking and packing to meet service level expectations.
- Load and unload shipments while verifying quantities and inspecting for damage.
- Support dock activities including staging, palletizing, and confirming shipments.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper bin usage and cycle counts.
- Follow SOPs, safety procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Meet productivity and quality metrics such as pick rate and on-time shipping.
- Assist with replenishment and stock organization.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Communicate operational issues or delays to supervisors and team members.
- Support cross-functional activities including receiving, returns, and special orders.
- Record receiving data into computer systems.
- Identify and report incorrect or short-shipped items.
- Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas.
- Verify computations against physical stock counts and inspect for defects.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Experience using warehouse systems such as TWL or RF scanners.
- Ability to safely lift 50–70 lbs.
- Ability to perform continuous physical tasks including walking, bending, and lifting.
- Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and dock operations.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as required.
- Knowledge of warehouse health and safety standards.
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending or squatting.
