About the Role

Develop sustainable strategies for clients in the mechanical and plant engineering sector, driving innovation and measurable improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop sustainable strategies for clients in the mechanical and plant engineering sector.
  • Support technology clients in mastering transformation and growth challenges.
  • Develop hypotheses, define future-oriented strategies, derive strategic implications, and formulate actionable recommendations.
  • Take on leadership responsibility and support junior team members' professional and personal development.
  • Actively drive the expansion of the Industrial Products sector within Deloitte Consulting.
  • Build long-term client relationships and identify new strategic levers.
  • Engage in recruiting and support training initiatives.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the team.

Requirements

  • Over 5 years of professional experience in an Industrial Products company or in consulting with significant project experience in mechanical and plant engineering.
  • Excellent academic performance from a leading university.
  • Project management experience.
  • Convincing leadership qualities.
  • Sound knowledge in strategy development, (digital) transformation, customer-centric strategy & transformation, and Target Operating Model Design.
  • Experience with quantitative analysis methods is advantageous.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English.
