About the Role
Join Deloitte's Business Security Office as a Senior Consultant in Sydney or Perth, working in a hybrid model on risk issues that matter to our people, our clients and our brand. Help shape how Deloitte manages confidentiality, privacy, and information security across the business, tackling big topics like AI, resilience and digital transformation.
Responsibilities
- Support data risk assessments.
- Analyze assessment data for trends and recurring issues.
- Strengthen processes around privacy, confidentiality, AI risk and data hygiene.
- Respond to stakeholder queries.
- Support monitoring activities.
- Keep policy, guidance and awareness materials current and useful.
- Advise on confidentiality controls.
- Translate technical concepts into clear training content.
Requirements
- Experience in risk management across data protection, privacy and information security.
- Experience undertaking data risk assessments, privacy impact assessments, controls improvement, or compliance assurance activities.
- Working knowledge of privacy principles, confidentiality obligations and emerging AI risk considerations.
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality responses, guidance and supporting materials.
- A sharp eye for detail, sound judgement and the ability to analyse trends and identify improvement opportunities.
- Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence working across teams including legal, technology and business leaders.
- The ability to manage competing priorities, show initiative and keep work moving at pace.
