About the Role

The Associate, Asset Management will manage a landmark mixed-use urban campus development, maximizing real estate value by developing and executing business plans and providing institutional-quality reporting for strategic decision-making. This role operates in a fast-paced and demanding environment, requiring a self-motivated and independent thinker.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance property performance and increase revenues.
  • Analyze financial data, including budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections, to identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures.
  • Underwrite and provide credit analysis for lease transactions.
  • Maintain, refresh, and reforecast internal ARGUS cash flow projections.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for the partnership, investors, and senior management, highlighting key performance indicators, financial metrics, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support the production of both the annual business plan and budget.
  • Monitor market conditions, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and threats.
  • Update and manage Asset Management property level cashflow and business segment reporting.
  • Assist in capital markets initiatives, including managing relationships and communication with lenders.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in real estate asset management, preferably within commercial or institutional settings.
  • 2+ years of experience working for an institutional quality Real Estate investor, lending institution, or Real Estate Investment Trust.
  • Ability to generate complex reports and synthesize large data sets in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of how to leverage VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP, INDEX & MATCH, SUMIF(S), COUNTIF(S), PMT, XIRR, and XNPV functions in Excel to optimize efficiency of reporting.
  • Argus Enterprise experience required; Certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and operate autonomously.
  • Highly organized, motivated, and able to multi-task effectively in a deadline-driven environment while maintaining strict attention to detail.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written.
