About the Role

The Clinician- Team Lead is responsible for maintaining a client caseload, identifying client goals, and ensuring treatment needs are met according to agency policies and regulations. This role also involves managing the successful execution of agency policies within their clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive biopsychosocial history assessments.
• Provide admit notes articulating medical necessity for treatment.
• Initiate comprehensive treatment plans.
• Assist clients in creating and maintaining treatment plans every 90 days.
• Orient residents and families to the facility and its services.
• Involve residents and families in care planning.
• Complete mandatory documentation on EHR within established timelines.
• Empower clients and encourage choice in matters affecting them.
• Provide linkage with appropriate community resources.
• Provide clients and families with crisis management services.
• Develop comprehensive discharge plans in collaboration with clients, families, and staff.
• Provide individual, group, and/or family counseling for mental health and/or substance use.
• Collaborate with other local agencies.
• Complete urine drug screens on clients.
• Accommodate walk-in assessments and/or crises during business hours.
• Monitor supervisee adherence to regulations and ensure compliance with HIPAA.
• Train clinical staff in EMR and documentation.
• Provide clinical supervision to supervisees.
• Provide coverage for cases when supervisees are unavailable.
• Create and implement goals for each supervisee.
• Perform other duties as necessary for the good of the clinic/agency.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in social work or mental health from an accredited school.
• Licensed eligible.
• Experience working with mental health and substance use population.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
