About the Role

A family in Pacific Heights, San Francisco seeks 2 ROTA nannies/governesses/educators for their 2-year-old daughter. The schedule is 2 weeks on/2 weeks off. This is a fully-staffed home where the nanny will lead the child's early education and development, model strong communication and conduct, and cultivate language, manners, and etiquette. The family values rigorous education, fine manners, and strong character, seeking a candidate who reflects these qualities.

Responsibilities

Create and implement daily educationally-enriching activities and lesson plans/curriculum tailored for the child.
Manage all child-related tasks, including laundry.
Prepare, warm up, plate, and serve the child's food, including chopping food and fruits.
Prepare snacks and side dishes as needed.
Drive the child if necessary, requiring excellent driving skills and a clean record.

Requirements

US/EU citizenship is a bonus.
Skier is a bonus.
Homeschooling experience is a plus.
Preschool/Kindergarten teaching experience is a plus.
French-speaking is a plus; if not, Italian or Spanish.
College or university degree in Early Childhood Education, Childhood Development, or a related childcare field.
Minimum of 5 years of teaching experience (public or private sector), homeschooling is a plus.
Comfortable around cats and not allergic.
Native English-language speaker.
Bilingual (French, Italian, or Spanish is a plus).
Minimum of 15 years of combined experience as a nanny/governess/educator.
Ability to teach proper conversation and etiquette.
Swimmer.
Seeking longevity in the role.
Energetic.
Experience/expertise as a professional childcare expert.
Strong communicator.
Very clean (overall cleanliness, organization, and hygiene).
CPR/First Aid Certified.
Licensed driver with a clean driving record.
Ability to nurture the child's mind and learning stages thoughtfully with structure, warmth, and a love of learning.
