About the Role
AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Sales and Service Supervisor (Assistant Community Manager) to lead office operations, set quality standards, and ensure residents experience luxury living. This role involves assisting the Community Manager with sales and marketing strategies, customer experiences, and coaching leasing consultants to achieve community goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist in determining community sales goals and motivating leasing consultants.
- Lease apartment homes, manage prospect leads, and educate residents on community information.
- Address and resolve customer service concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist in developing and implementing programs to maximize revenue, control expenses, and improve customer experience.
- Support residents during move-in, lease renewals, move-out, and transfers.
- Monitor market conditions by calling or visiting competitive communities.
- Plan and execute resident activities and events.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable AVB policies, procedures, federal, state, and local laws, including fair housing regulations.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of multifamily experience or related experience/education in a hotel, retail, or restaurant environment.
- 1 or more years of supervisory or training experience.
- Proficiency in using administrative software and Microsoft Office Suite.
