About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to tackle complex challenges, integrate diverse systems, and design intelligent, software-enabled solutions to enhance mission outcomes. This role requires strategic thinking and tactical execution to transform evolving operational requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions. The ideal candidate is adaptable, values collaboration, and understands individual contributions to organizational goals. This position supports national security programs and requires an active Top Secret security clearance. Preference is given to candidates with a CI Polygraph, but those eligible and willing to obtain one are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Solve intricate technical problems with a systems-oriented approach.

- Produce technical documentation for long-term system sustainment.

Requirements
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with CI Polygraph, or willingness and eligibility to obtain a CI Polygraph.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in-person at CACI facilities in Sterling, VA, Sarasota, FL, or Denver, CO.
- At least 3 years of experience in systems engineering, software engineering, systems integration, solution architecture, or related technical fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with mission management applications or enterprise data integration.
- Proven track record of solving complex technical and operational issues.
- Experience integrating software applications, enterprise systems, APIs, databases, and distributed technologies.
- Familiarity with system testing and automated application testing frameworks.
- Strong grasp of systems engineering principles and the system development lifecycle.
- Experience designing or implementing automation for operational efficiency.
- Advanced technical writing skills, including architecture documentation, interface control documents, system diagrams, procedures, and engineering artifacts.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while staying aligned with strategic objectives.
- Demonstrated capability to independently prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Atlassian Suite tools, including Jira and Confluence.
