Responsibilities
- Perform physical and visual inspections of products and plant systems, document and calculate results accurately, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Ensure personal and food safety, including record-keeping, reviewing pre-op paperwork, and supporting HACCP, SQF, and other food safety protocols.
- Support the calculation of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by gathering and entering data, and creating and maintaining Performance Boards.
- Take inventories, monitor inspection lots, and support employees and supervisors in the system.
- Provide and monitor operations workflow through the design of workflows and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between plant leadership and the workforce to communicate processes, programs, problem-solving, and operational results.
- Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and work rules.
- Work as a team to cover vacations.

Skills
- Strong organization, verbal, and written skills.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Access, and Word systems.
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to situations.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
- Ability to gather and analyze information quickly and determine skillfully, with the ability to develop alternative solutions.
