About the Role
As a Field Applications Engineer, you will support customers with the launch of a leading-edge factory, introducing and transferring ASML’s EUV, DUV, and applications product portfolio. You will own projects, address escalated customer issues, and translate on-product challenges into actionable problem statements. Collaboration with regional and global teams is key to resolving issues and maximizing product value for the customer. You will also define and drive customer requirements, identify new application opportunities, and work closely with sales and product teams. Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills are essential for presenting technical findings.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and/or lead projects supporting customer transition to new technology nodes or ramp-up of specific technology nodes.
- Own workstreams within larger projects, developing and driving autonomous project plans for successful execution with regular stakeholder updates.
- Translate customer on-product issues into lithography or metrology problem statements and resolve them to maximize product performance and usage.
- Proactively identify ASML applications product opportunities for customers.
- Conduct data analysis to ensure correct conclusions from experimental data and report results to ASML and customers.
- Meet with internal and external customers to maintain commitment and inform all involved parties of progress.
- Prepare technical presentations for customer meetings, provide new user support, and assist sales.
- Learn and apply the ASML metrology product portfolio to maximize product application benefits for the customer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in a similar role.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industry.
- Minimum 1 year of experience utilizing MATLAB, Python, JMP, or similar software.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in data analysis and analyzing technical data to summarize and present findings.
- Access to controlled technology as defined by the United States Export Administration Regulations.
