About the Role

This student opportunity within the Service Delivery branch at CATSA offers a chance for career-driven individuals to contribute to air transport security. It is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a multifunctional and collaborative environment, promoting growth and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to implementing improvements to online training programs.
• Gain hands-on experience developing responsive training solutions and assessment tools.
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities related to the position as required.
• Support the broader Training and Certification Development team.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a college diploma or a university degree relevant to the duties of the position.
• Knowledge of Responsive Design, HTML5, CSS and JavaScript/JQuery.
• A high degree of motivation and desire to learn and use new technologies.
• Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
• Be eligible to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
• Be a full-time or part-time CEGEP, College or University student.
• Be returning to full-time or part-time studies in the next academic year.

Skills

• Good visual design sense with an eye for detail.
• Ability to explain basic technical matters in a clear and concise language.
• Ability to plan, prioritize, multi-task and organize work effectively.
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Understanding of web technologies, protocols and systems (i.e. HTTP, REST, JSON, CMSs, CRMs, Mobile Web, GIT etc.).
• Experience developing AR/VR, mobile apps, desktop applications or games.
• Knowledge of authoring tools such as Lectora, Captivate, or Articulate.
• Knowledge of CATSA’s organizational structure, mandate, priorities, operating environment and its interrelationships with other internal/ external government and industry stakeholders.
