About the Role

First Connect is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth and increase production among existing agents by enhancing their knowledge of appointed carriers and P&C insurance. This role is vital for growing the business through relationship building, training, and a focus on incremental policy gains.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Agencies.
  • Regularly schedule and coordinate agent training on an individual basis.
  • Achieve and exceed set sales targets.
  • Leverage cross-sale opportunities with assigned agents.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and execute best practices.
  • Use data-driven approaches to identify growth opportunities.
  • Collect and communicate feedback from training sessions to drive improvements.
  • Maintain knowledge of all Carrier Markets and Products, Commission Structure, and Appointments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of P&C experience, including working with Independent Agents.
  • Experience training and developing agency staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to understand and review agency qualifications for appointments and make recommendations.
  • Experience selling and marketing P&C personal and commercial lines.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including formal presentations.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity and desire to problem-solve.
  • Flexible and willing to do what is needed to get great work done.
